Support vessels and offshore units in operation

About us

A story built by people.

Meet Alisson and Gabrielle, the founders who created WorkShip and turned experience, purpose, and perseverance into a benchmark in the Brazilian marine market.

The people who started our story

WorkShip’s founders

Before the services, products, and operations came the people who shaped the company. Alisson and Gabrielle founded WorkShip in December 2006, combining complementary experience and a shared purpose to serve the Brazilian marine market.

Alisson, co-founder of WorkShip

Co-founder

Alisson

Alisson’s experience in the marine industry and in business process management formed one of WorkShip’s foundations. The company’s name itself came from the way he described his routine: “I work on ships.” As co-founder, he brought this knowledge of the marine market to a company designed around the sector’s technical, commercial, and logistics needs.

Gabrielle, co-founder and head of Legal at WorkShip

Co-founder and Legal

Gabrielle

A lawyer and co-founder, Gabrielle has been part of WorkShip’s story since December 2006. In addition to founding the company, she took responsibility for its legal affairs, combining her background with Alisson’s marine and management experience to structure the business and support its growth.

Our history

A company born from working on ships

Founded by Alisson and Gabrielle in December 2006, WorkShip took its name from a phrase that was part of Alisson’s daily life: “I work on ships.” The combination of work and ship created the name that has represented the company from the beginning.

The company grew from the combination of Alisson’s marine and business process management experience and Gabrielle’s legal background. Together, the founders structured WorkShip to meet needs they had identified in the Brazilian marine market.

From the outset, WorkShip was designed to bring together every aspect of customer support: technical services, logistics and material distribution, marine product sales, and continuous technical assistance.

The story built since 2006 has been marked by determination and perseverance. Even with an established track record, WorkShip believes its story is only beginning and continues working to address market needs and remain a benchmark in Brazil’s marine industry.
